Hi there, I’m Jared

I have been playing guitar for 10 years and have always loved the instrument. With 5 years of guitar teaching experience, I relish the  opportunity of teaching and allowing students to attain their musical goals whatever they may be. I encourage my students to play music that they like whether it be anything from classical to even rap genres, and while I study a variety of music, I enjoy playing all of it.​

I completed my undergraduate degree majoring in Psychology and minoring in Music at the University of Alberta and am currently in my first year pursuing a Masters in Public Health also at the University of Alberta. I am a full-time gigging guitarist for hire and play several shows year round such as weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, etc. https://www.gigsalad.com/jared_sieusahai_-_guitarist_edmonton As part of the Artists on the Wards program I volunteer by playing guitar to both patients and staff within the University of Alberta hospital in order to instill a therapeutic and calming musical environment. Through the Heart of the City Music Program I volunteer teaching guitar to underprivileged elementary school children and was the Performance Troupe Director for this program where I led a team of musicians who played across Edmonton to raise the necessary funds to support this program. I also volunteer by playing guitar with a Therapeutic Music club where I play music either in person or online for various senior homes across Canada.
